Zildjian Cymbals

Zildjian cymbals, with a lineage stretching back to the 16^th century, the Zildjian mystique has captivated musicians and listeners alike due to its secret blending of metals which help create the celebrated “Zildjian Sound”.

The Zildjian A Custom line was developed in collaboration with Vinnie Colaiuta. The Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash Cymbal was developed in response to requests for the heavier, louder volume needed in rock settings. Zildjian A Custom cymbals are made using radical rotary hammering techniques, thin weights, and a striking, brilliant finish.

Steeped in legend, the carriers of the Zildjian legacy, the K Zildjians were the original cast cymbals developed by Kerope Zildjian (hence the K) in 19th century Turkey. The new Zildjian K Series have the Zildjian logo on top, and also have the block K on the bottom, the designation used when the Ks were first introduced in the ’80s. As the leading favorite for the jazz drummers, the Zildjian K series has been relied upon by a sweeping majority of top players to create their sounds. The Zildjian K series have an excellent tonal clarity and projection, which makes them ideal for all kinds of music, not just jazz.

The award winning Zildjian K Custom Hybrid range was conceived as an unambiguously modern set of cymbals inspired and designed in conjunction with Japanese fusion drummer Akira Jimbo. With their contemporary looks, sizes and sounds, they are a versatile and useful addition to any cymbal setup.

The Zildjian K Custom Dark Crash is a favorite among many drummers. With a unique hand hammering pattern, the K custom Dark crashes have dark, dry and trashy overtones with a quick stick response and decay.
